Legend has it that Gargantua lost his teeth and then his life on Mont Garrot. Supposedly they had to fold him in sevenths in order to bury him.

The Site
The Saint-Suliac region has long been inhabited, as evidenced by the discovery of flint tools (arrowheads, scraping tools, chisels, awls) in 1951, or the Neolithic menhir called the "Dent de Gargantua" ("Gargantua's Tooth").

1st Milestone
At the fork in the road, take the left fork at 48°33.532N 001°58.382W. Follow the sign "Sens Interdit."
2nd Milestone
At 48°33.611N 001°58.251W turn left.
3rd Milestone
Turn left again at 48°33.573N 001°58.360W.
4th Milestone
Stop at the scenic lookout at 48°33.508N 001°58.407W. Continue to the intersection at 48°33.493N 001°58.437W, where you will turn right.
5th Milestone
Here, you will discover the other side of Mont Garrot at 48°33.503N 001°58.445W. Come full circle to find the cache at 48°33.532N 001°58.382W.
